Очередная история про AI и разработку, но с конкретикой. Mattermost на Team Edition, три ежедневные боли: нельзя нормально ответить на сообщение в канале, не видно прочитал ли коллега, для созвона кидаешь ссылку на локальный Jitsi с отдельной авторизацией.

За день собрал три плагина в Cursor: reply с цитатой, галочки доставлено/прочитано, голосовые комнаты на Pion прямо в server-плагине. Личная инициатива, не тикет в бэклог. Коллегам понравилось, мне в копилку.

Рассказываю, почему не переезжали на другой мессенджер, как задавал рамки AI (опыт с медиа помог), и где плагины не работают: спойлер, нативные приложения.

P.S. про обложку. Превью для Habr тоже сгенерировал AI. Оно, конечно, вообще не похоже на настоящий Mattermost: другие цвета, другой UI, будто мессенджер из параллельной вселенной. Но мне так понравилось, что решил оставить. Пусть будет из разряда «ожидание vs реальность» или «Mattermost, который мы заслуживаем».

Общий механизм выглядит так: ESP32-S3 измеряет параметры канала Wi-Fi 100 раз/сек, а Raspberry Pi их анализирует, в реальном времени выводя результат в браузере. Эта система обнаруживает абсолютно неподвижно сидящего человека по одному только движению его грудной клетки во время дыхания — без каких-либо камер, датчиков PIR или носимых устройств.

Диск лежал на полке рядом с десятком других коробок — 2008 год, обычный магазин с играми, ничем не примечательная витрина. На обложке три персонажа: воин, паладин и маг. Строгие лица, никакого намека на юмор. Выглядит как серьезное фэнтези — такое обычно берут, когда хочется чего-то монументального. Я взяла его почти случайно, просто потому, что хотелось новенького. И уже через несколько часов стало ясно: обложка обманула — внутри пряталось нечто более тонкое, чем очередная героическая сага. 

«King's Bounty: Легенда о рыцаре» затянула не сюжетными поворотами и не сложностью — таких игр к 2008 году выходило достаточно. Затянула ставка на интеллектуальную игру с игроком: отсылки, требующие вспомнить книгу или фильм, музыка, работающая на атмосферу отдельно от боев, диалоги, написанные так, будто автор уважает того, кто их читает. С тех пор я прошла каждую часть, которую выпускала студия Katauri Interactive, — и наблюдала, как эта ставка сначала окупалась сполна, а затем потерялась в попытках повторить успех без понимания, из чего он вообще складывался. 

Это история о том, что происходит, когда авторы решают не упрощать и не ведутся на поводу у мейнстрима — и выигрывают.

Интерпретатор ESPB временно пока отложил, интерес к нему оказался скромным. Но подошел к глобальной задаче с другой стороны и на этот раз все крутится вокруг Zerotier. Давно обратил внимание на данную платформу, когда то ковырял libzt - sockets поверх сети Zerotier. Это удобно для приложений, которые находятся вне единой локальной сети и должны общаться сквозь NAT. Думаю, многие хотели бы использовать микроконтроллеры (например, ESP32) для IoT-задач, не заморачиваясь со способами доставки информации на сервер и не завися от того, спрятан ли этот сервер за NAT.

A senior leader at OpenAI has said people should prepare to defend against “ongoing, persistent” cyber-attacks from AIs, as cutting-edge artificial intelligence models gain advanced capabilities to plan and launch offensives.

Traditionally, the spritz is an Italian cocktail made from prosecco, a bitter aperitif or liqueur, and a splash of soda water to keep things steady. Сразу скажу что именно чтобы тем кому надо знать только итог не тратили свое время на чтение. Сайт лежит в виде виртуальной машине убунта без морды на арендованном довольно шустром хосте с 64 Озу 12 ядер 500 ССД и канал 1G. Хост крутит тоже убунта без морды.
Ну и для сайта выделено было пару ядер и пару гигабайт памяти.
Что делает сам сайт - он подключен ко всем буквально источникам новостей об ИИ как к лидерам рынка, так к вендорам и агрегаторам. Суммарно 100 источников. Он собирает все новости что найдет и те что не на английском переводит на английский. Затем чистит от дубликатов. То что осталось раскладывает на рубрики, переводит на 15 языков и выкладывает себе в ленту, выкладывает в Канал в телеге на русском только и все новости на всех языках пихает в ленту RSS.
Чтобы все это делать он пользуется несколькими ИИ подключаясь к ним по API.
То есть сайт чисто текстовый. Никаких вычислений тяжелых нет. Нет рендеров и нет картинок даже.
И вдруг выясняется что сайт на этой машине буквально еле ползает. Сайту неделя. Я там единственный пользователь. И чтобы ему нормально было работать оказалось что надо до 6G ему добавить память и выделить еще два ядра. Провел я расследование и вот что оказалось

Чем больше автономии я даю ИИ-агентам, тем больше требований к коду превращаю в механические проверки. Когда eslint-plugin-react сломался на ESLint 10, я собрал продолжение для React 19: сократил 102 активных правила до 11 и исправил ошибки, которые проявились только в реальных проектах.
