The Norwegian FA will ask Gianni Infantino to resign with immediate effect after his doomed attempt to sell stakes in the World Cup to private investors. Norway is the first federation to call directly for the Fifa president to step down after a series of controversies that came to a head with the current crisis surrounding his Fifa Forward Enterprise scheme.

The decision was made in a meeting of the Norwegian Football Federation (NFF) on Thursday night. Norway has consistently taken a lead in efforts to scrutinise Fifa’s governance and recent events have taken any faith in its leadership beyond the point of no return.

Osiecki had been studying the work of a renowned 17th-century Flemish artist, Clara Peeters, one of the earliest practitioners of still life painting. Works by Peeters hang in the Prado in Madrid, the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford and the Metropolitan Museum in New York.

Donald Trump’s statement that oil companies have made “too much money” from the Iran war has angered environmentalists, who say that his policies were designed to benefit those very corporations. If he really believes his own claims, he should impose a windfall profits tax, advocates say.

“Trump’s declaration that big oil is ‘making too much money’ belies his accommodation and giveaways to the industry that have enabled its price-gouging – not to mention his disaster of a war of choice against Iran,” said Tyson Slocum, energy program director at the consumer advocacy non-profit Public Citizen. “But like a broken clock that’s correct twice a day, the president is right that oil companies are ‘making too much money’, which means Trump should endorse a windfall profits tax.”

ExxonMobil and Chevron on Friday both reported windfall profits for the second quarter of the year. Chevron said its earnings soared nearly 400% to $12bn, while Exxon’s profits more than doubled to $14.5bn. On Monday evening, Trump took aim at those gains, saying the companies “ought to give some of that back to the public”.

Есть небольшой побочный профиль, которым я занимаюсь – ретрансляция сырых потоков RTSP, в HLS. По сути задача простая, чтобы любой простой юзер мог увидеть картинку со своих камер, не пользуясь проприетарным облачным ПО от производителя камер. Во-первых, это много денег, т.к многие клиенты хотят хранить достаточно долго записи с камер. Во-вторых, почти у всех производителей камер разное ПО, и это тупо не удобно иметь 10 разных приложений и/или порталов, где это все можно посмотреть. Ну и в-третьих мало где есть интеграции с ИИ (что для моих клиентов, критически важно). Даже если эта интеграция есть, она либо узкоспециализирована, либо опять-таки проприетарна, либо стоит много денег, а иногда и все это вместе. Решение - использование сырых RTSP потоков, их поддерживают и отдают 90% всех камер на рынке.

Так вот, схема была достаточно проста: несколько камер, простой бэк, выдаем на едином ресурсе для клиентов картинку по HLS, используя плеер hls.js. Всех все устраивало, всем все нравилось. Быстро, просто, удобно и не дорого. Тесты работали идеально, клиенты довольны. С каждым был чат, куда выдавали ссылку на просмотр, а также был общий чат со всеми клиентами – где обсуждались вопросы подключения, финансовые ну и прочее. И вот настает момент Х, кто-то по ошибке скидывает в общий чат ссылку…и конец. По ссылке кликнул видимо весь чат, 3 минуты, полетели алерты в боте, алярм, ахтунг, тревога. Смотрим железо, сервер в ауте, ООМ, все потоки отвалились. Через 20 минут чат разрывался от гневных сообщений, о неработоспособности у всех. Занавес.

Watching Sterling Point, Amazon’s new series from the My Old Ass director Megan Park, you’re struck by how little it resembles adolescence as previous generations imagined it. Set over one pivotal summer on a remote Canadian island, the show follows Annie as family secrets, first love and long-buried grief unravel the meticulously ordered life she’s built. Its teen protagonists, raised in the age of therapy-speak, are emotionally articulate, relentlessly self-aware and unusually good at communicating, making for a noticeably subdued coming-of-age drama.

Теперь, воробьи уже стрелянные, мы знаем, как непросто обеспечить необходимый для длительной и нормальной работы (самодельной) лампы высокий вакуум — в котором склонны испаряться даже металлы, в них же обнаруживаются и выбираются наружу впитанные ранее газы [1] и даже предательское стекло, инертнейший, казалось бы, материал, содержит и испаряет газы и воду. Все эти ужасы можно не прекратить, но сократить до приемлемого уровня тщательнейшей очисткой и сложной подготовкой материалов, их вдумчивым подбором и применением постоянно действующего в электровакуумном приборе (ЭВП) микронасоса — геттера. Возможно тема эта избитая и многократно разжёванная в том числе и на Хабре. Но тем не менее актуальная, и кому-то может оказаться полезным краткий обзор.

Исторически так сложилось, что сертификаты для подтверждения подлинности веб-сайтов при шифровании были выстроены в иерархическую структуру.

Имеется корневой супер-надёжно охраняемый сертификат (а точнее его секретный ключ), хранящийся в изолированном от глобального Интернета контуре, за 5-ю заборами с колючей проволокой, с бронированными дверями и конечно надёжно зашифрованный и расшифровывающийся комбинацией из нескольких ключей, независимо хранящихся у разных людей - гарантов его секретности (это реализуется, например, схемой Шамира).

Далее корневым сертификатом подписывается (заверяется) менее, но всё ещё очень надёжный промежуточный сертификат, или несколько таких. От которых в свою очередь цепочка доверия распространяется на промежуточные сертификаты следующего уровня или уже на оконечные (листьевые) сертификаты, которые используются собственно сайтами и веб-порталами для шифрования трафика. Конкретно сертификат используется с целью подтверждения, что содержимое вам отдаёт именно удостоверенная сторона, именно тот сайт, адрес которого вы набирали в строке адреса в браузере, а не какой-то шпион или кракер.

И тут весь вопрос в том, кому вы доверяете.

Описанные выше корневые сертификаты с их поддеревьями заверенных иерархий образуют своеобразный лес: от каждого корня - отдельное дерево.

Стандартно браузеры либо используют свой список доверенных корневых сертификатов, либо пользуются средствами среды, то есть операционной системы (будь то Windows, iOS или Android). Как правило этот список можно дополнить или заменить на свой собственный. Например, можно выписать свой персональный (или корпоративный) сертификат, и только его оставить в списке. Это на случай, если вы доверяете только себе самому. При этом вы сами (или ваша организация) храните в тайне его секретный ключ, которым осуществляется подпись других сертификатов. И вы лично отвечаете тогда за безопасность.

System parameters tab

Added a new System tab to the Parameters page, providing access to advanced system configuration, including Regional Settings, Host Mappings, DNS Servers, NTP Servers, Kernel Parameters, and SSH Public Keys.

Local disk storage option

Added support for deploying PostgreSQL data on the local disk, eliminating the need for an additional network volume. To enable this mode, set the volume size to 0 or explicitly select System Disk in Expert Mode.

New Ansible playbooks

Automate common PostgreSQL cluster operations with a new set of Ansible playbooks:

• Patroni cluster operations: switchover_pgcluster, failover_pgcluster, reinit_pgcluster
• Cluster lifecycle: stop_pgcluster, start_pgcluster
