Approach focuses on rebuilding soil health, increasing biodiversity and restoring natural ecosystems

For the last few decades, the nutrient content of our crops has been declining. In the late 90s, the US Department of Agriculture found the vitamin C content of lemons had decreased by almost a third over the previous 22 years. Calcium in carrots, an important source especially for non-meat eaters, had reduced, on average, by more than a quarter. Vitamin A in bananas was down by 57%. The mineral content of wheat has declined by between 20-30% since the 1960s.

A number of reasons have been suggested for this worrying decline, ranging from new varieties of crop that are bred to grow quicker and bigger to the higher carbon dioxide levels in the air causing plants to produce more sugars and starches (they grow faster but they produce fewer nutrients). A wide range of fixes have been suggested, from GM crops to synthetic soil amendments, or underground farms.

Кроветворные стволовые клетки состарились на молекулярном уровне. Иммунитет работает непредсказуемо.

Такая машина существует и находится примерно в 400 км над вашей головой. Это Международная космическая станция.

Описанный в предыдущих частях калькулятор уже работал. Реализация 2021 года запускалась на реальном оборудовании, обрабатывала нажатия клавиш, вычисляла результаты и отображала их. Арифметика была корректной в том смысле, что большинство результатов было точным до 12 значимых разрядов, а это больше, чем требуется обычному пользователю.

Но «большинство» это не «все», а «примерно 12» — это не 15-16 разрядов, которые может и должна обеспечивать 16-разрядная BCD-машина. Существовали пограничные случаи, в которых результаты оказывались совершенно неверными. Имелись итеративные алгоритмы с точностью приемлемой, но не такой, какой она могла быть. Кроме того, в процессе тестирования я обнаружил ошибки, при отладке которых обнаружились фундаментальные баги в коде прототипа на C++. Это привело меня в смятение, ведь для их устранения мне бы пришлось переделать заново код прототипа. В конечном итоге, так я и поступил. Старый код я оставил в репозитории (Pathfinding/Methods) и с нуля разработал совершенно новую версию (Pathfinding/Proof). Я пообещал себе, что занимаюсь этим последний раз в жизни, поэтому стремился делать всё идеально.

В итоге, версия 2025 года устранила найденные мной проблемы. Это был не патч, а почти полное переписывание арифметического движка, расширение набора команд CPU и существенное увеличение библиотеки функций. В этом посте я расскажу об изменениях и их причинах.

Память стала одной из самых востребованных функций диалоговых и агентных систем. Если пользователь регулярно обращается к ассистенту — для работы, консультаций, планирования, обучения или бытовых задач, — то от системы уже ожидают не просто хорошего общего ответа. От неё ждут, что она будет учитывать прошлые взаимодействия: помнить неизменные факты о пользователе, не терять важный контекст, обновлять устаревшую информацию и понимать, когда именно произошло то или иное событие.

При этом такая память о пользователе обычно не является встроенным свойством самой языковой модели. В прикладных продуктах её чаще добавляют как отдельный слой вокруг LLM: например, через RAG с долговременным хранилищем фактов (векторные или графовые базы памяти, профили пользователя, журналы событий) или агентные схемы — например, локальную файловую систему в духе Obsidian в сочетании с вызовом инструментов.

Из-за этого качество памяти становится не столько вопросом того, насколько хороша модель, сколько вопросом всей архитектуры: как система извлекает факты, что именно сохраняет, как разрешает противоречия, удаляет ли данные по запросу пользователя и как использует временной контекст.

Для русского языка до сих пор не хватало бенчмарка, который проверяет именно такие аспекты долгосрочной памяти в многосессионных диалогах. Поэтому мы сделали RUMBA — Russian User Memory Benchmark: русскоязычный бенчмарк для анализа способности диалоговых систем работать с долгосрочной памятью пользователя в реалистичных разговорных сценариях.
