Community organizers demand systemic changes after police killed Corey Ruiz, a 38-year-old Black man, in Madison

After bystander footage of police killing Corey Ruiz – a 38-year-old Black man in Madison, Wisconsin – spread online, many questioned why the officers were not wearing body cameras, a standard practice for more than 80% of police nationwide.

Police said Ruiz was wielding a knife and injured an officer; multiple bystander videos showed he was shot while already detained and on the ground. Ruiz’s family called for mandatory body cameras in the city, along with charges for the four officers involved. People across the political spectrum echoed the demand for cameras, including Madison’s police chief.

На практике все оказалось немного сложнее, зато сама диагностика дала хороший повод подробно посмотреть, как устроен современный корпоративный мини-ПК.

Работа с coding-агентом часто начинается с простой схемы: разработчик формулирует задачу, передаёт репозиторий и просит подготовить изменение. Агент читает код, редактирует несколько файлов, запускает тесты и возвращает результат.

В продуктовом репозитории этой схемы быстро становится недостаточно. Агенту нужно определить границы изменения: какой компонент владеет поведением, какие сценарии от него зависят, какие ограничения нельзя нарушать и где находятся потребители изменяемого контракта. После реализации кто-то должен установить, соответствует ли результат исходному намерению, достаточно ли проведённых проверок и относятся ли они к текущей версии кода.

Генерация кода становится всё доступнее. Основная сложность смещается к организации среды, в которой агент систематически готовит корректные изменения.

Almost before the five Bronx schoolgirls who called themselves the Chantels had finished their unaccompanied delivery of a song called The Plea in his office on Broadway one day in 1957, the record label owner George Goldner was fishing in his desk for a contract they could take home and show their parents.
