The Greatest is a new limited series that repackages the life of Muhammad Ali for generations born too late to remember when the sporting icon was the world’s most famous man, or too lazy to seek out one of the many books written about his boxing rise, his exile from the sport for refusing the draft, his improbable late-career comeback and his steely resilience in the face of a seismic Parkinson’s diagnosis. That this TV adaptation comes from Amazon is both a stroke of vertical integration and an indictment of a viewing public whose patience for source material wears thinner with every scroll.

The Prime Video drama says it’s based on “the life of Muhammad Ali”, a credible claim given the extent to which Ali’s cultural ubiquity made him a public figure of eminent domain. The first-ever “authorized scripted series” also has the backing of Ali’s widow, Lonnie, who serves as an executive producer. But the show clearly takes its direction from the definitive tome authored by Muhammad Ali’s brother, Rahaman Ali. The younger brother was a lifelong sparring partner, sharing a room in their childhood Kentucky home and remaining a prominent member of his entourage until the champ’s death in 2016, aged 74 – an occasion for global mourning.

Communities have changed, and so have we

When we first launched the JetBrains User Group Support Program thirteen years ago, the idea was simple. We wanted to help local developer groups grow by providing JetBrains IDE subscriptions for organizers and small community giveaways. Since then, the way developer communities work has changed greatly.

Many communities now live online, on Discord, Slack, and other platforms. Others move between in-person and virtual events, depending on what works best. Workshops, livestreams, and hybrid events have become part of everyday community life.

We realized our program should evolve together with the communities.

That’s why our User Group Support Program is becoming the JetBrains Developer Communities Program, designed to better support the many ways developers come together today.

Supporting more communities, in more ways

Our goal hasn’t changed. We still want to help communities create opportunities for developers to learn, connect, and exchange ideas. What is changing is how we support that.

The program now welcomes a much broader range of communities, including:

• Workshops and other developer-focused initiatives

We’re also expanding the types of support available. In addition to JetBrains IDE subscriptions for organizers and community giveaways, communities may also receive:

На этой неделе в топе снова всплыла старая история: свежий VPS, ufw default deny incoming, наружу только 22, 80 и 443, а потом в compose-файле появляется ports: - "5432:5432" — и через пару дней в базе лежит записка с биткойн-кошельком. Почему так происходит, уже разобрали подробно. Я хочу про другое: как сделать так, чтобы такой compose-файл вообще не доехал до сервера.

Ниже — два небольших скрипта на Python. Первый проверяет compose-файлы до деплоя и падает с ненулевым кодом, если порт опубликован на все интерфейсы. Второй смотрит, что реально слушает на машине, без ss и netstat, прямо из /proc. Весь код я запускал на Python 3.13 и PyYAML 6.0.3, вывод в статье — настоящий.

This insider’s history of the CIA explores the last 50 years of US foreign policy with granular detail and mordant humour

The 250th year of the American experiment seems to invite a reckoning. For a young country, the United States is overblessed – or burdened – with myths about its foundation and how the nation has conducted itself at home and abroad. William T Vollmann’s 3,000-page novel A Table for Fortune is an epic attempt, 15 years in the making, to engage with the US’s past and present at an institutional and a personal level. The four simultaneously published volumes offer both a family story and an insider’s history of the CIA, in order to show the consequences of the quest for liberty and the belief in American exceptionalism.

Vollmann’s previous novels have explored the ideological basis of American society, most notably those of the Seven Dreams series, published from 1990 to 2015, which depict the generally disastrous encounters between American settlers and Indigenous peoples. A Table for Fortune continues this project by investigating the last 50 years of US foreign policy, at the heart of which is 9/11, with the book “tracing the roots of that crime in one direction and its poisoned harvest in another”. Though the CIA has been fertile ground for many great American novelists – Don DeLillo, Norman Mailer – Vollmann is perhaps the first to represent the culture and daily activities of the agency in granular detail. His great gambit is to frame this as a dark workplace comedy of minor resentments, sexual tension and office banter. These sections are narrated by the institutional voice of the CIA itself in a relentlessly sardonic tone rife with acronyms, codenames and jargon rendered in multiple fonts. The mordant humour of the narrator, who regards all forms of death and suffering as “fun”, has a seductive quality that allows Vollmann to educate the reader about a broad sweep of geopolitical subjects ranging from the Angolan civil war to the interrogation methods of the Stasi, and in doing so chart the hypocrisies and double standards of the agency.

Автоматизировать поддержку хотят все. Большая часть вопросов пользователей повторяется, и так и хочется завернуть ответы на них в какой-нибудь алгоритм. Подходов много, но один из самых распространённых — векторный поиск: мы пытаемся понять, о чём пишет пользователь, находим в базе знаний семантически близкие статьи и просим LLM составить ответ на их основе.

В презентации всё выглядит шикарно. Бот понимает вопрос, находит нужные материалы, формулирует ответ. Остаётся немного настроить — и можно отпускать сотрудников заниматься чем-нибудь более интересным.

Но довольно быстро выясняется, что пользователи упорно не хотят действовать по алгоритму. Формулируют вопросы как придётся, опускают важные детали, ограничиваются коротким «не работает» или «помогите». Для векторного поиска такие сообщения создают проблему: в них слишком мало информации, чтобы уверенно определить смысл запроса. В результате подбор статей становится почти случайным: в выдачу попадают статьи, которые лишь условно похожи на обращение.

Бывает и хуже: нужной статьи в базе вообще нет. Тогда LLM пытается собрать ответ из того, что нашлось по смежным темам. Получается связный текст, который может иметь довольно отдалённое отношение к проблеме пользователя. Модель, в общем, старается, но исходных данных ей никто не подвёз.

В этой статье расскажу, как я решил подойти к обеим проблемам одновременно: изменить способ сопоставления обращений и статей, а затем использовать ту же тематическую разметку, чтобы находить пробелы в базе знаний и готовить черновики новых материалов.

Не думал, что уже так много, но оказывается к маю 2025 года ИИ участвовал в создании уже 35% новых сайтов в интернете, а 18% сайтов были сгенерированы нейросетью полностью - эту оценку от Imperial College London, Stanford University и Internet Archive приводит Gizmodo. Поэтому решил исследовать, как вообще сейчас создают сайты с помощью нейронок, и по сути способа сейчас три: 

Первый - самый распространенный, когда пользователь формирует запрос на создание сайта непосредственно в чате своей нейросети (таких как ChatGPT, Claude или другие), а потом как-то сам переносит результат на хостинг или в CMS.

Второй - это так называемы “Вайбкодинг”, способ для продвинутых пользователей, которые смогли разобраться как развернуть свой VPS-сервер, настроить Claude Code, Codex или свою Harness, после чего возможности создания разных сайтов становятся почти безграничны.

А есть еще третий способ - это ИИ-конструкторы сайтов, которые совмещают в себе простоту взаимодействия (можно так же, как в условном ChatGPT словами описать какой сайт ты хочешь) и сложность выгрузки сайта на хостинг (такие конструкторы обычно уже включают в себя хостинг) и по сути сайт создается и появляется на вашем домене после нескольких диалогов с таким сервисом.

И мне стало интересно разобраться, как работают именно ИИ-конструкторы.

Одиннадцатого сентября 2026 года в России официально запустили 5G, а через шесть дней журналисты прошли по Москве со спидтестом и в большинстве точек намерили скорости LTE, а местами даже ниже. И зачем нужна была эта помпезность…
