Boom in solar farms and home installations in first half of 2026 began shortly after start of US-Israel war against Iran

Great Britain has recorded more new solar power installations in the first half of this year than in any six-month period since 2011, as households turn to rooftop panels to help cut their energy bills.

An analysis of the government’s official figures shows that Great Britain added 142,536 solar installations in the first six months of the year, putting it on track to top last year’s record solar additions.

Rashad Sultanov, 44, from Islington, north London, was arrested on 17 July by Cypriot authorities ⁠and is being held in custody as extradition proceedings continue, the police said in a statement on Friday.

В этой статье рассмотрим два сценария использования ИИ в разработке: в первом случае ИИ помогает разработчику писать код, во втором ИИ становится частью продукта и начинает работать с пользователями, данными, API, бизнес-логикой и внешними инструментами.

Разница между этими сценариями критична и если их смешивать, то легко построить либо избыточный и неудобный контроль, либо, наоборот, пропустить критичные угрозы.

В первом сценарии основные точки контроля должны находиться как можно ближе к разработчику, а во втором – должны быть ближе к ИИ-модели.

Часто первое, что хочется сделать при неполадках в кластере, — уменьшить его и надеяться, что всё решится само. Получается, большой кластер = куча проблем?

Автор статьи решил зайти максимально далеко: поднять Kubernetes-кластер с миллионом узлов и посмотреть, что будет.

Спойлер: получился вовсе не выстрел в ногу, а серьёзный эксперимент — много подготовки, обход ограничений, графики производительности и, конечно, ценные выводы. И даже инструкция в конце для желающих повторить.

The US National Weather Service classified the tornado as an EF3, making it the fourth of that strength to strike Wisconsin in 2026. EF3 tornadoes are relatively rare in north-east Wisconsin, and this year’s total is already the state’s highest since 1984.

XXXXX, the new album by Venezuelan producer-vocalist Arca, is reportedly laden with meaning: a press release claims that “suspended between posthuman augmentation and raw emotion, XXXXX exposes the mainframe”. But the reason Arca, real name Alejandra Ghersi, has become such a star of electronic music – and a mainstream-adjacent one at that – is not because she lets philosophy postgrads in Berlin write her marketing copy: it’s because, for well over a decade, she has been putting out records like XXXXX, which seem to tap into the body’s most primal, feral frequencies better than nearly anyone else. That ability has resulted in recent callups to collaborate on Madonna’s Confessions II and remix pop singer Addison Rae, and she has amassed a large, loyal fanbase – uncommon for someone making such outre music.

The follow-up to her phenomenal Kick series – five albums, each highlighting a different side of Arca’s work – XXXXX sometimes channels the frenetic feel of Aphex Twin (as on Everything) and zeroes in on the wild, footwork-y high-tempo club music she made her name with (like on Fxck, a breathless and grimy rebuke to patriarchy). But it also delves more deeply into worlds the musician has previously skirted around. The sound of a tolling bell on Willow rings into a song that’s harsh and uncompromising; Raver jumbles the building blocks of classic mainstream EDM into a piece of beautiful, disorienting sound design.

But I do care, intensely, about a government that is promising once-in-a-generation reform of care for elderly people winning the public’s confidence for long enough to actually carry out that promise, and weirdly in 2026 that means chomping crisps on camera to establish your bona fides with people who’d scroll straight past conventional political content.

Процессоры за то же время отказали дважды. Свежее по такому масштабу никто ничего не публиковал, но тренд на Kubernetes с тех пор только усилился: по опросу CNCF за 2025 год, 82% пользователей контейнеров гоняют кубер в проде и 66% компаний с genAI-моделями держат на нем инференс.

Сам Kubernetes до сих пор как будто бы уверен, что отказы лечатся рестартами. Для stateless-сервиса это правда, а вот для пода с GPU нет: если контейнер упадет, то kubelet поднимет его заново на том же мертвом устройстве, и все пойдет по кругу.

Я Стас Погоржельский, технологический евангелист VK Cloud. Про то, как раздавать GPU через DRA, на Хабре уже писали, про отказоустойчивость кластеров в целом тоже. Эта статья про то, о чем обе умалчивают: что происходит после того, как выданное устройство умерло. Мы посмотрим на это наглядно: соберем отказный стенд, отберем у пода GPU и посмотрим глазами kubectl, кто и когда об этом узнает. А потом разберем механизмы 1.36, с которыми из этой ситуации впервые можно выйти без вечного Pending и без убийства ноды целиком.

Я писал в предыдущих постах, что наш митап по верилогу пригласили на мероприятие торговой палаты города Маунтин-Вью, Калифорния. И вот мероприятие состоялось. Ну, как я уже написал в заголовке, на наш стенд зашел Дейл Догерти, основатель журнала самоделкиных Make Magazine и выставок Maker Faire. Дейл расспросил Майю и Свету почему у них возник интерес к проектам с микросхемами малой степени интеграции.

Уже более 20 лет я так или иначе связан с ecommerce. Мой первый проект в 2000-2001 годах был Супермаркет Онлайн. Задумка была ровно такая же как нынешние маркетплейсы: любой желающий мог создать магазин на платформе и продавать через него свои товары. Я был молод и глуп, поэтому не понимал, что для такого проекта не место и не время, но даже в том юном возрасте отлично видел перспективы такой концепции, хотя тогда еще не было успеха Амазона, Ebay, Aliexpress и Российских маркетплейсов.

Не видел другого, что нет нормального проникновения Интернета (а тогда он мало у кого был, в основном модемный), нет инфраструктуры (онлайн оплат, логистики итд), а самое главное нет готовности покупать онлайн. Все это не помешало нам запустить проект и подключить к нему более сотни магазинов.

С 2024 года Path of Exile 2 находится в раннем доступе. Несмотря на масштабную и амбициозную задумку разработчиков, в данный момент геймеры жалуются на проблемы с оптимизацией и отсутствие полноценного эндгейма.
